Nikolas Nikolaou (Management Team)

President of NGO ACPELIA, plays an important role in the organization and implementation of projects, contributing his experience as a coach and organizer. He is a high school physics teacher with a BSc in Physics from the University of Cyprus and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
He has extensive experience in environmental education, non-formal education, entrepreneurship, and anti-discrimination initiatives. Nikolas has organized and participated in over 50 European programs (KA105, KA205, KA229, Youth in Action) as well as many local environmental and science projects involving young people.
Gita Vaskelyte (Management Team)

Gita Vaškelytė is a youth worker, project coordinator, writer and president of Meraki LT, an NGO focused on empowering communities and supporting social change. After completing her studies in social work, she started working with young people, organizing activities and programs to support their growth and well-being. She is actively involved in various projects, youth exchanges and training initiatives. She recently joined the NGO ACPELIA as a Project Manager and has worked in more than 10 KA1s, successfully managing and coordinating international initiatives. Gita is passionate about promoting inclusion, building connections and empowering young people to reach their full potential through creativity and collaboration.
Elena Tasheva, Trainer / Facilitator

Elena Tasheva, is an ambitious and passionate individual currently residing in North Macedonia. With an academic background in Project Management from UTMS in Skopje and a Master's degree in marketing from the Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus, Elena's journey has been shaped by a commitment to education and continuous growth. As a certified trainer, facilitator, project coordinator, and writer, she has actively participated in over 100 local and international projects, primarily focused on youth-related educational initiatives under Erasmus+ and other programs. Her expertise spans a wide range of topics, including social entrepreneurship, youth work, environment protection, project management, mindfulness, and mental well-being. Elena is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in youth work, further solidifying her dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of young people. Alongside her academic pursuits, Elena is also the founder of the EduArt Organisation in North Macedonia, which aims to incorporate artistic approaches into non-formal education. Currently collaborating with multiple NGOs internationally, Elena continues to inspire and empower others through her extensive knowledge and experiences in the field of education and youth development.
Boghos (Bobbie) Avetikian (Training team/Youth Worker)

Boghos Avetikian is an Armenian Cypriot, who after achieving a BA in English and Communications at the American University of Armenia immediately got involved in Erasmus+ projects after graduating. After participating in 25+ projects, both Youth Exchanges and Training courses, Boghos soon got involved in facilitating and coordinating projects on his own, focusing on numerous themes such as sustainability, social entrepreneurship and inclusion. Boghos Avetikian loves jogging and music, and should be in Nicosia, you will probably see him running around in the afternoons with his earphones in his ears.
